Communicate with a Panache!

Human beings communicate every moment through verbal or nonverbal language to build a rapport and relationship. Whether you look at someone in the eyes or not, you are communicating. Whether you smile at someone or not, you are communicating. Whether you dress formally or casually, you are communicating. Whether you strut into your classroom or stagger into your classroom, you are communicating. Whether you shake hands or choose to join your hands, you are still communicating. So why not develop Panache for communication.

It is conspicuous that communication skills play a crucial role in our lives as well as our careers. Let us make our presence felt in any given situation: in an interview or a first meeting; a session in the classroom or a client deal; a presentation or a formal address.

In David W Champagne’s words, “What happens between you and your students in your classroom or lecture hall depends largely on what you want to happen. How you treat each other and how you and your students feel about being in that place with each other is modeled and influenced by you.”

As educators, Let us communicate with our own Panache!

Look forward to the next post for tips on “communicate with a Panache”.
